Different Types of Diets

Throughout this blog, you will see me reference my meals as "paleo" or "semi". Below are elaborated explanations of those diet terms
DISCRETION: I am not a health care provider or registered dietician. These are merely some components of popular diets that I chose to incorporate in my daily life. I DO NOT follow any of these to tee.  Please contact a physician before you consider any new health care regimen. 

Gluten Free: This diet is often times mistake for the paleo diet but unbeknownst to a lot of people, it is possible to follow a gluten free diets and NOT be paleo. As you can see below, the paleo diet limits corn, sodas, beans, and potato chips. However, those who have celiac disease or follow a gluten free diet can eat these foods. Please don't mistake the two.
What You Eat: fruits, vegetables, corn, sweet potatoes, meat, rice, quinoa, beans, cheese, dairy
What You Don't Eat: Barley, rye, wheat, soy sauce, tabbouleh, and often times oats

What You Eat: fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds
What You Don't Eat: starchy vegetables, grains, dairy, refined processed foods

What You Eat: all fruits and vegetables, grains, nut and seeds, certain types of animal protein, dairy, and eggs
What You Don't Eat: red meat. If red meat is consume then it is limited. Often times animal proteins are limited to a few times a week.
